Former President Jerry John Rawlings has advised the Member of Parliament-elect for Korle Klottey Constituency in the Greater Accra region, Dr Zanetor Rawlings to serve her constituents with truthfulness, humility and dedication.
The daughter of the Former President who is now the Member of Parliament-elect for Korle Klottey Constituency won the seat after polling 33,609 votes representing 50.29% to beat her closest contender Lawyer Philip Addison of the NPP who polled 29,122 votes representing 43.57%.
Though Dr Rawlings who beat incumbent Member of Parliament for the constituency, Nii Armah Ashitey in her party's primaries, had her candidacy disputed in court, the party was able to convince Mr Ashitey to stop plans of going independent.
