Scores of people have been injured at Atebubu in the Brong Ahafo region after a brawl between supporters of the Member of Parliament for the area Sanja Nanja and the DCE Sampson Owusu Boateng, Star News has reported.
 Many properties have also been torched, the report also stated.
Meanwhile, the Atebubu Police Command is on a manhunt for supporters of the NDC who set the party office on fire on Tuesday.
According to the Police Commander for the Atebubu-Amantin, Chief Superintendent Joseph Dzinaku, his outfit has mapped out a strategy to arrest those who were involved in the destruction.
There had been tensions in the district since the current DCE Sampson Owusu Boateng contested and lost the NDC primaries to incumbent MP Sanja Nanja, who is also Owusu Boateng's predecessor as DCE.
