Video: No casualty was recorded at Koforidua – NPP Medical Team

The National Annual Delegates Conference of the governing New Patriotic Party, NPP held at the campus of the Koforidua Technical University in the Eastern Region to elect their national executives did not record any casualties, according to the party’s medical team.

Over 6,000 members of the party on Saturday, July 7, 2018, converged on the campus of the Koforidua Technical University but the NPP Medical team said even though there were some ailments recorded, they were minor illness.

At the Conference grounds, Ghana National Fire Service personnel were there to prevent any possible fire outbreak.

Medical doctors from the Ghana Police Hospital were also there to provide health care to the people.  

Fred Okyere is the Head of the NPP Medical Team that was detailed to the scene and he told PrimeNewGhana in an exclusive interview a day after the conference that the team was ready for any eventuality.

He said they treated illnesses such as tiredness, headache and diarrhea but there was no situation where someone collapsed.
