Head Pastor of the Glorious Wave Chapel International, Prophet Badu Kobi has on December 31, 2018, watch night service prophesied that Nigeria's national elections will be put on hold or the election will go on but the results will bring trouble.

Nigeria's Presidential and parliamentary elections was scheduled to take place today, February 16, 2019, but to the surprise of many Nigerians and Africans, the election has been postponed to February 23, five hours before the crunch vote was scheduled to take place.

According to Prophet Badu Kobi during his prophecy session, the election will be postponed because the incumbent President, Muhammadu Buhari has decided to rig the elections.

“Nigeria’s election may be put on hold or disaster after the elections. Either they’ll put it on hold or they’ll let the elections go on but after the election, the results will bring trouble because Buhari has decided to rig the election,” Prophet Badu Kobi said in his prophecies for 2019 during the 31st December Watchnight Service.

The elections will now be held on February 23 due to logistical problems, the electoral commission said.

"Following a careful review of the implementation of its logistics and operational plan and the determination to conduct free, fair and credible elections, the commission came to the conclusion that proceeding with the elections as scheduled is no longer feasible,” Mahmoud Yakubu, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) chairman, said following an emergency meeting in capital, Abuja early on Saturday morning.

“This was a difficult decision for the commission to take, but necessary for the successful delivery of the elections and the consolidation of our democracy.”
