The Wa polytechnic governing council has been given an order for the suspended Rector of the Polytechnic, Professor Emmanuel Owusu Marfo to report to work today after his four months suspension.

 A high court in Wa yesterday overturned his suspension on grounds that he wasn't given full hearing by the committee. He was suspended by the governing council for allegedly bridging procurement procedures to acquire a Mercedes Benz worth over half a Million cedis.

Prof. Owusu was suspended by a special committee comprising members of the Polytechnic Governing Council, who were tasked to investigate allegations of financial mismanagement levelled against him.
