David McDermott, a British fugitive and son-in-law of former Bank of Ghana governor, Dr Henry Kofi Wampah is to be extradited to the United Kingdom.
The Accra Human Rights Court hearing the extradition case made the ruling on  Tuesday morning.
In her ruling , Justice Merley Wood said the suspect must be moved to the UK to stand trial for the drug trafficking charges leveled against him.
McDermott, 42, who is wanted for his role in a conspiracy to import £71 million worth of cocaine into the United Kingdom in 2013, was nabbed in Ghana on March 11, this year, in fulfilment of an extradition request made by the British High Commission to the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Ghana.
At the time of his arrest, McDermott was married to Dr Wampah's daughter, Ramona.
