NPP man shot by robbers

A member of the opposition New Patriotic Party’s Akropong and Eastern regional communication team, Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie, popularly known as IGP, has been attacked and shot by armed robbers at his residence in Accra.

Akufo-Addo condoles Prez Mahama over mum's death

New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has extended his condolence to President Mahama, following the death of his mother, Abiba Nnaba.

“I extend my condolences to @JDMahama and his family on the passing of his mother, Madam Abiba Nnaba. May she rest in perfect peace", Akufo-Addo tweeted.

Abiba Nnaba, according to the Minister of Communications, Edward Omane Boamah died on Tuesday night.

Family sources say the late Hajia Abib is expected to be buried later at Damango in the Northern Region in line with Islamic tradition.
