Former first lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings has being congratulated by New Patriotic Party (NPP) Flagbearer, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo over her election as the presidential candidate of the National Democratic Party (NDP).
 Mrs Rawlings was on Saturday, by accalamation, elected as the presidential candidate of the NDP for the upcoming general elections, a party she founded after breaking away from ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) in 2012.Â
