Over one hundred and fifty New Patriotic Party (NPP) supporters have joined the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Suame constituency in the Ashanti Region. According to a member of the group, Kofi Konadu, their support for the NPP had not yielded any positive results for the constituency.
"We have been supporting the party for years but the party has not shown any care for the welfare of the constituency members", he told primenewsghana in an interview.
They also accused Member of Parliament Hon. Osei-Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu for not doing enough for the welfare of youth in terms of education ,job opportunities and human development and promised to vote for the National Democratic Congress' (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for the constituency, Brogya Genfi, to "take the constituency to the next level".
