Spokesperson for suspended National Chairman of the opposition New Patriotic Party, Nana Yaw Osei has refuted signing a statement captioned “FROM THE OFFICE OF PAUL AFOKO TO ALL HIS FOLLOWERS AND PARTY FAITHFULSâ€.
In a rejoinder statement, Nana Yaw Osei stated that “For the information of the general public, neither my good self nor anybody from the office of the elected National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has authored any such statement.
The statement added that “It is, as usual, coming from the enemies from within the NPP and their collaborators outside who have created the false impression that they mean well for the NPP and so want power but in actual fact the reverse is what they wish for the party.â€

RE: THE OFFICE OF PAUL AFOKO TO ALL HIS FOLLOWERS AND PARTY FAITHFULS
My attention has just been drawn to a statement with the above caption doing the rounds in the media particularly the social media.
For the information of the general public, neither my good self nor anybody from the office of the elected national chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has authored any such statement.
It is, as usual, coming from the enemies from within the NPP and their collaborators outside who have created the false impression that they mean well for the NPP and so want power but in actual fact the reverse is what they wish for the party.
It is our wish that they do not dare us into engaging them on anything at a time they are supposed to be in the trenches explaining to Ghanaians why the NPP deserves to be given the mandate to govern in its present state.
Please, you are being advised to ignore any such statement which could only be coming from evil minds.
