President Akufo-Addo has appointed Thomas Kusi Boafo as the New Chief Executive Officer to the Public-Sector Reforms.

Thomas Kusi Boafo before his appointment was an economics lecturer at the Kumasi Technical University and political analyst.

He made his appointment known in a radio interview with Otec FM in Kumasi. According to him, he received a call last week from the Flagstaff House asking him to come to Accra and upon his arrival was asked to go and head the Public-Sector Reform as CEO.  He will report directly to the President and Cabinet.

The incoming CEO has assured the Ghanaian public of his commitment to making sure every public-sector worker including Metropolitan Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) deliver on their task.

He stated that he will work to help government achieve its promises made to Ghanaians during the 2016 general election.
