Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party has lauded President John Dramani Mahama for honouring the late Abuakwa North Member of Parliament (MP), J.B. Danquah-Adu with a state burial.
I would like to use medium to thank President John Dramani Mahama for honouring our brother this way. We thank him so much because JB [as he was affectionately called] deserved it, Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo-Addo said in Akan, according to myjoyonline.
He made this statement while addressing mourners at the funeral of the murdered MP on Saturday, April 16, 2016.
Mr Danquah-Adu was tragically murdered at his residence at Shiashie on February 9, 2016 and the three-day final funeral rites  began on Friday, April 15 as his body was laid in state at the Forecourt of the State House.
