Managing Editor of the New Crusading Guide newspaper Abdul Malik Kweku Baako has rebuked General Secretary of the NDC Asiedu Nketia for attacking the personality of the Board Chair Audit Service, Prof Dua-Agyemang.
According to Kweku Baako, the latest press Conference by the opposition NDC addressed by the Asiedu Nketia should have focused on the alleged 6.5 million dollars given by UNDP for some forensic audit rather than attacking the personality of the former Deputy Auditor General.
The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) on October 2, 2018, launched an unsparing attack on the Board Chairman of the Audit Service, Prof Dua-Agyemang, describing him as a ‘trickster' and incompetent.
The NDC verily believe the former Auditor-General does not have the credibility to undertake any role assigned to him, and thus, questioned why President Akufo-Addo appointed him.
Speaking at a press conference, the General Secretary of the NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, insisted that the appointment of Prof. Dua-Agyemang has led to a number of illegalities and complete maladministration in the current government.
“It is the same hatchet man Dua-Agyeman, acting in the irresponsible, egotistic and sleazy manner that he has become infamous for, who has been responsible for all these acts of misgovernance and illegality. Shoddiness is his first name, dishonesty is his middle name and vindictiveness is his surname”, he said.
However, Speaking on Joy TV's news analysis show, News file, Kweku Baako factual rebutted some allegations made by the Asiedu Nketia against NPP's Prof Edward Agyeman Dua, saying majority of the claims by the NDC were untrue and was aimed to malign Agyaman Dua's personality.
