The Communication Director of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Solomon Nkansah has noted the reportage by sections of the media that President Mahama is promising one household-one metre is not grounded in truth but rather an intervention by the president to avert the predicament of the people of Abra in the Central Region who needed prepaid metres.

Speaking on Radio Ghana, Mr. Nkansah opined “President Mahama has been called upon by the people of Abra in the central region that the community has expended and they needed more of prepaid metres.”
He also urged the youth to put their hopes into the president of the land and ignore provocative comments from the opposition.
“I urge the youth of Ghana to remain steadfast in the president of the republic who doubles as the presidential candidate for the NDC for the upcoming election and ignore all matter of comments put across by the desperate opposition.”
