Video and pictures of Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and his wife Samira Bawumia have surfaced on the internet where both are seen walking on the street of London after days of confirmed illness.
Dr Bawumia was flown to the UK after doctors advice for him to seek further medical care overseas.
On Saturday, January 27, footage of him and his wife walking on the street pop up on the internet.

Before the video surfaced, Minister of Information Mustapha Hamid on news analysis show Newsfile on JoyFM assured the public the Vice President was recovering and will soon return to the country in no time.

Samira Bawumia, wife of Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia on Thursday broke her silence on the issue of her husband's health, saying, he is doing well and will be returning to work soon.
In a Facebook post on Thursday, the Second lady who is in the UK with her husband said: “ My Husband Bawumia and I are grateful to all Ghanaians and well-wishers from across the world for the prayers, support and best wishes. He’s doing very well and we thank Allah for His grace. He looks forward to returning to work soonâ€.
