Former President Mahama has condemn what he describes as the Mass sacking of workers by the New Patriotic Party [NPP].
The president in tweeted that the laying off of ghanaian workers due to the change of government is a “bad precedents for our governance.”

According to him “workers are all citizens and like all Ghanaians have rights, which must be protected.”

There have been reports the NPP administration has been transferring and laying off some public sector workers, especially those appointed by the past Mahama government.

The most recent is the transfer of the head of the Ridge hospital in Accra, which has been considered by many as a political decision.
