President John Mahama has urged Ghanaians to vote massively fo the National Democratic Congress (NDC) because they had the best plan to move Ghana forward.
Speaking at the party's 2016 manifesto launch in Sunyani on Saturday, President Mahama stated that manifesto is a product of the NDC's "unyielding commitment" to see the hardworking people of Ghana prosper through the implementation of economic transformation and livelihood empowerment programmes.
"The manifesto we have put out is the best plan to move Ghana forward", he emphasised.
According to him, "the NDC is the one party that can deliver on the aspirations of the Ghanaian people" because "we in the NDC put people first in everything we do".
He thanked the manifesto committee headed by Ambassador Lee Ocran for bringing out a manifesto has been organised in a way in simple [and] straightforward language that is easy to read.
"I'm happy that the manifesto we have produced communicates our vision for the country", he added.
