Political rallies provide a fine opportunity for curious people to expose their stuff and at the Sunyani Coronation Park, venue for the manifesto launch of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), today, some zealous party supporters from Bole have been sighted carrying a coffin draped with rival, Nana Addo’s pictures signifying death to his political career perhaps aware that should he lose his presidential bid for the third time, he might give up on the idea.

72-year-old Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is the New Patriotic Party’s presidential nominee who poses the greatest threat to incumbent John Mahama’s reelection bid but despite Nana himself and his camp men insisting he is fit to run the campaign, a recent Africa Watch Magazine publication revealed he had cancer and was sitting on a time bomb, if he continued to exert himself unduly.

Nana Addo’s personal physician has however debunked any such claim, giving the onetime Foreign Minister and Attorney General, a clean bill of health to campaign.

Heavy rains meanwhile have held up the manifesto launch as supporters, media men and party gurus wait in the comfort of their cars, under erected tents and other facilities for the rains to clear up.
