Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom has held a rally at Elmina in the Central region to thank supporters who stood with him in his reinstatement bid after the Electoral Commission disqualified him from the 2016 presidential race.

The Presidential Candidate of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP), informed thousands of party supporters, residents and traditional rulers in the Komenda-Edina-Eguafo-Abirem (KEEA) district at the rally that he reckons certain powers fear with him in the race, there would be an upset hence efforts to eliminate him.

He commended and praised Komenda, Edna, Eguafo and Abirem (KEEA) residents and party people for showing him love and support including coming to the Accra High Court in a show of support on the verdict day.

Urging the electorates to vote for him on December 7, Dr. Ndoum pledged erecting libraries at Agona and Abrishea, a fishing cold store at Komenda and a business project in Sanka to make life easier for the people.

The Edina [Elmina] people and chief can also expect a new palace by close of the year according to Dr. Nduom.

Prior to arriving at Elmina, Dr. Nduom made stops at Kasoa, Budumbura, Winneba and Makessim markets and a drive-through Cape Coast.

Meanwhile the PPP leader is scheduled to start a ‘Thank-You’ tour across the 10 regions in 2 weeks after the court directed that EC allow him to amend his nomination paper eventually making him eligible to be voted for.
