Despite many promises by President John Mahama to fix Ghana's power crisis, which is popularly referred to as dumsor, a member of his party thinks otherwise.

The senior member, Member of Parliament (MP) for Amenfi Central in the Western Region, George Kofi Arthur, in an interview on Atinka FM  Wednesday stated nobody can fix the recurrent power crisis.

Considering the amount of power that Ghana had during the tenure of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) it is obvious that the Mahama led administration has added more megawatts to the country’s power sector, he stated adding that the NPP should appreciate what the Mahama administration has done and stop criticising blindly.

According him, Ghanaians should pray that the new interventions that the government has introduced will continue to work efficiently in order to avoid challenges since they are machines and might fail at a point in time.

“You can’t fix Dumsor, No government can fix Dumsor, ” he charged.
