The Bosome Freho constituency chairman of the New Patriotic Party in the Ashanti region, Attakora Amaniampong has denounced reports circulating on social media that he and other three executives have been suspended.

Speaking to primenewsghana.com, the chairman said he has not received any suspension letter from the Regional Chairman or General Secretary.

He also added that he has to receive the letter from the regional office not from the disciplinary committee which is a subcommittee under the regional office.

“I have to receive it from the regional chairman or the regional secretary and not the chairman of the disciplinary committee which is a subcommittee under the regional office.”

His reaction follows a statement signed by the regional chairman of the disciplinary committee, Dr. Kwame Amoako Tuffour, at a meeting on 22nd August, 2016 that four of the constituency executives have been suspended

a) Mr Attakora Amaniampong - Chairman

b) Madam Mary Mensah - Women Organiser

c) Mr Frank Agyekum - Deputy Youth Organiser

b) Mr Anthony Nyame - Communications Officer

According to the statement, this is as a result of their uncooperative and negative attitude towards the campaign of the parliamentary candidate, Joyce Adwoa Arko-Dei of the Bosome Freho constituency.
