In yet another twist to the Adwoa Safo SHS saga, the New Patriotic Party constituency organizer for Dome Kwabenya, Seth Kofi Osei-Kissi has said the MP bought with her own money the land on which the Community Senior High School in the constituency was built.

According to him, the MP possess all the necessary documentation to back her claims that she indeed acquired the land from the Ghana Atomic Energy Commission.

In a video circulating on social media, the Kwabenya lawmaker, condemned the NDC over the project, saying it was laughable that the NDC is taking credit for the facility when it was rather her intervention that resulted in the securing of a World Bank facility to build the school.

In rebuttal, Former Deputy Minister of Education, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa outlined the process the former NDC government went through to secure world bank support for the project as part of plans to build the school.

However speaking to the media in a press conference, Seth Kofi Osei-Kissi insisted the Dome Kwabenya lawmaker still stands by her claims and will never render an apology.

Narrating the circumstance He said the then MCE for Ga East Kwao Sackey "told us the money given to him by the government to buy the land for the project was small and could only purchase four plots which were inadequate for the school project."

He added that Adwoa Safo then had to step in to see the authorities of Ghana Atomic Energy Commission who made available to her for purchase, the vast land on which the school was eventually built. The records are verifiable at the Atomic Lands Secretariat, "she paid for all the survey works on the land and she has all the receipts to back her claims.”

Meanwhile, special aide to the Member of Parliament, Dr. Emmanuel Boakye has said an apology letter claiming to be from the office of Adwoa Safo is false and must be treated with the contempt it deserves.
