He is expected to recount sector by sector, steps followed to improve on the economic situation of Ghanaians.

In a media encounter in Accra, Information Minister, Mustapha Hamid said “In the next few days, the president will hold a press conference to mark his one year in office. Tentatively, we are looking at Wednesday (10 January 2018), so in the course of Monday (8 January 2018), we’ll confirm to you whether the Wednesday date holds.

“When the president held his press conference in July, he said that at the end of the year or beginning of the year or middle of every year, he will hold this press conference to update you on the governance process and what it is he is doing and then also to take questions from you.

Mustapha Hamid further stated that, for the government to create more channels of communication and ensure a better free flow of information, the government may also be holding weekly government press briefings.
