The Abuakwa North Constituency Deputy Constituency Women Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Patience Koranteng has resigned.
Her resignation comes a few weeks after former constituency treasurer, Akosua Sarpomaa switched camp to join the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Confirming the incident, Communications Director, Mr. Osei Wusu, stated that the party's constituency executives are yet to receive any letter from but indicated that the woman has not been active in the party lately.
However, information gathered suggests that, some constituency executives of the party were not in support of the candidature of the current MP, Hon. Gifty Twum Ampofo, hence the resignations.
