Bashir Hayford has made his intentions known to the 'authorities' following Ghana's disappointing exit from the 2018 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations.

The Black Queens trainer has expressed his readiness to remain as the head coach of the outfit despite the early exit from the 2018 AWCON.

Ghana were booted out of the ongoing tournament after the Black Queens'  draw against Cameroon at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday.

The results has left the job of the former Ashgold gaffer in limbo as he was jeered by the home fans heading into the tunnel after the final whistle.

However, Coach Bashir is adamant that he would continue to work should he be granted the chance.

“It is not me, it is the authorities, am a coach who is prepared to train. He said.

“If I am fit and still alive and they say coach Bashir Hayford come and help as I am doing then I will because this is service to the nation. But if they say I should make way for another coach then fair enough, I would.”

Cameroon joined by Mali, after beating Algeria 3-2 qualify to the next phase of the tournament.
