Milos Raonic on Friday became the first Canadian man to qualify for the finals of any Grand Slam.

He beat Roger Federer in an exhilarating five-set contest to end the Swiss' off an eighth Wimbledon title this year.

The sixth seed Raonic won 6-3 6-7 (3-7) 4-6 7-5 6-3 on Centre Court to hand Federer, 34, his defeat in 11 Wimbledon semi-finals.
