There is mostly a wide gap between footballers and businesses on the African continent but that is not so when we are dealing with Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan.

One of the most successful footballers in the history of Ghana, Asamoah Gyan is also thriving as a businessman.

Gyan 32,  knows very well that his heydays will soon be over, but the steps he has taken are worthy of every commendation he has had.

The Kayserispor striker has a variety of business currently running in his name and is still in the process of launching more in the near future.



Here are 7 businesses owned by Black Stars Captain Asamoah Gyan



1. Mama Vits Noodles and Rice

 

The Black Stars striker is into the import of food products such as rice and noodles aside his impressive football career.

Asamoah Gyan launched the Mama Vits noodles and rice in the latter parts of 2012 and has seen both products make a mark on the Ghanaian market.

 

2. Baby Jet Airline

 

Asamoah Gyan recently acquired a license to operate on an airline in Ghana. The airline company, which will be known as “Baby Jet Airline”, is set to start operation by this year.

Gyan and his team have already started recruiting Cabin Crew for Baby Jet Airlines.



3. Boxing Promotion

The Baby Jet boxing promotions is also one of the businesses of Asamoah Gyan.

The boxing promotions company currently has IBO Lightweight champion Emmanuel ‘Game Boy’ Tagoe on its roster, as well as other talented upcoming boxers.



4. Paradise Pac Water

The Paradise Pack water is also one of the newest businesses that Gyan has ventured into.

The striker finally launched the production of “pure water” as an additional business last year and it is already doing well on the market.


5. Transportation Business

 

Another of Gyan’s biggest businesses is his foray into the transportation business.

He is currently having over 30 coaches (buses) which move to and from Accra and Kumasi, as well as other neighbouring countries.



6. Asa Band

For a footballer that loves music, Gyan has also channelled some of his investments into a musical band known as the Asa Band.

The band was launched in December 2015 and has since been performing at functions. The band even has an album titled ‘Fly away’.



7. Event management

Asamoah Gyan is again the man in charge of an event management company called JetLink Events & Logistics.

Situated at Adjiringanor in Accra, the company is involved in the organization of events as well as in the construction of stages, trusses, lights, Public Address systems, tents and LED screens for all events.
