Member of Parliament for Asunafo North, Hon. Evans Bobie Opoku has been appointed Deputy Minister for Youth and Sports designate.

If he goes through successful vetting, the 46 year old will join substantive minister Hon. Mustapha Ussif at the ministry responsible for the development and promotion youth and sporting activities in the country.

Evans Bobie Opoku is a top-notch banker with over 15 years of experience with Ahafo Community Bank Limited.

He possesses excellent administrative, verbal communication and development skills. very sociable, friendly, committed Christian and God-fearing with a congenital heart.

He supervises the bank’s operations and management of the bank resources.

Responsible for, preparation of yearly training programs, staff training, carrying out staff appraisal, delivering lectures to micro-finance groups and actively leading management meetings, discussing and encouraging rural developments programmes.
