Jonathan Abbey Pobi, an outspoken football administrator has launched a scattering attack on those who had worked in the former administration with Kwesi Nyantakyi not pick up a form to contest for the presidency of the Ghana Football Association.

The race which includes former Ghana FA Executive Committee members George Afriyie, Kurt Okraku, Wilfred Osei, popularly known as Palmer, president of Division One Club, Alhaji Karim Grunsah and former FIFA agent Nana Yaw Amposnsah, who is considered an outsider have all made their intentions clear to contest for the vacant position after the resignation of Kwesi Nyantakyi.

Abbey Pobi in an interview on Class FM in Accra stated that anyone who had ever worked with the former Nyantakyi led Administration should not pick up forms for elections because he believes they are all out of Coverage area.

‘’I have said that anybody who have ever taken tea or eat with Kwesi Nyantakyi before should not try to pick a form to be an FA President because they are all out of coverage area since they were all with Nyantakyi for the past thirteen years ‘’ The bankroller of defunct Neoplan Stars said.

He continued ‘’ He was having a vice president, ten RFA(Regional Football Association) members who happened to be executives members, one hundred and twenty-three members who vote for him and he was working with all of them. So they are all part of it. I think I should be made the chairman of the elections committee so that I will be doing the vetting and I think if I am given that position, I will give Ghana a good FA President’’.
