The Ghana Athletics Association (GAA) has opened nominations for the third elective congress which is slated for Tamale on December 15.
Prospective candidates can pick the nomination forms at the GAA office at the Accra Sports Stadium and return them not later than November 14, 2018.
The positions to be contested are President, Vice President (male), Vice President (female), Organising Secretary, Deputy Organising Secretary and Treasurer.
The schedules for the Congress are submission of nomination forms which is slated for November 14, proposal for congress agenda also on November 14, submission of delegates list by member associations (November 16), publication of delegates list (November 23) with the congress taking place on December 15.

General Secretary of the GAA, Mr Fuseini Bawa has advised interested candidates to contact 0200145101 or send a mail to gha@mf.iaaf.org for further information."The forms are free to anyone who is interested should kindly contact the GAA office to pick one,†he said.
