German giants Bayern Munich have completed the signing of Colombian International James Rodriguez on a two year loan from Real Madrid.
The offensive midfielder had been a target for Premier League sides Manchester United and Chelsea but have now joined Bayern.
Rodriguez found first team opportunities limited after signing a six-year contract with Madrid for an undisclosed fee, which was reported to be approximately €80 million after the 2014 World Cup.
James would be a replacement for Brazilian Douglas Costa who is set to complete a move to Italian Club Juventus.
Bayern Munich won the German Bundesliga last season beaten Borrusia Dortmund to the title.
