Berekum Chelsea striker Latif Salifu believes misfiring Asante Kotoko forward Songne Yacouba will soon end his goalscoring drought soon.
The Burkinabe forward has gone seven games without a goal for the Porcupines.
Yacouba is yet to score in the CAF Confederations Cup campaign for the Reds, leaving fans of the club worried over the form of the lethal attacker.Â
Many have attributed the striker's goalscoring famine to "Black Magic" but Latif Salifu says the striker will rediscover his scoring form soon and it is normal for forwards to go on a drought.
"Yacouba Sogne will score the goals soon. It's normal for strikers to have droughts. It has nothing to do with about juju,"Â Latif Salifu told Sikka Sports.
Yacouba is being given special training as the Kumasi based outfit seek to get the striker in shape ahead of their trip to Zambia to play Nkana FC.
Despite his goalscoring famine, the 26-year-old has registered five assists in six games for the Reds in the CAF Confederations Cup.
