German second-tier side Paderborn striker Bernard Tekpertey have been handed a call up to the Black Meteors ahead of U-23 Africa Nations Cup qualifier against Gabon on March 23.
The attacker joins the list of foreign-based players to have been selected by Black Meteors head coach Ibrahim Tanko for the national assignment.
In a statement released by Paderborn, the team expressed excitement for the call-ups handed to their players.Â

The former Schalke man receives his first Ghana U23 call-up despite playing for the senior national team at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.
