Ghana's Senior female National team the Black Queens are set to arrive in Ashanti region, Kumasi as part of their preparation towards the 2018 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations (AWCON).

The Black Queens will arrive in Kumasi on Wednesday as the outfit is set to train at the Baba Yara stadium at 3:00 PM.

On Thursday, Coach Bashir Hayford's outfit will pay a visit to the Ashanti Regional Minister, the Chief Executive of Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly and Ashgold's bankroller Dr Kwaku Frimpong at his residence.

The Black Queens will come up against Kumasi Sports Academy in a friendly encounter at 3:00 pm at the Baba Yara stadium.

The team will then depart to the Brong Ahafo region for further preparations.

The Queens initially camped at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram.

The tournament is set to start on November 17 and ends at December 1.
