The Local Black Stars improved on their performance to beat Guinea 2-0 in their second game of the WAFU tournament at the Cape Coast Stadium.

The team was heavily criticized for their poor showing in their opening game against Gambia despite the narrow win.

Berekum Chelsea forward Stephen Sarfo opened the scoring for the team in the 48th minute of the game.

Inform Hearts of Oak striker Kwame Kizito doubled Ghana's tally as he put one away to make it 2-0 in the 77th minute.

Coach Maxwell Konadu will hope his side continue their form to enable them to clinch the title after they failed to qualify for next year's CHAN in Kenya.
