The winning bonus of the Black Stars has been slashed down from $10,000 to $5000-Sports Minister designate, Isaac Asiamah has disclosed.

Mr. Asiamah who met the team in Gabon said, the bonus has been slashed by 50% and that would affect all the allowances that would be received by the technical bench of the Black Stars and administrators.

According to the Sports Minister designate, they have met with the players and all stakeholders and agreed on the amount.

The Black Stars would receive $15,000 as qualification bonus to the next stage whether they beat Egypt or not.

“It is important to engage in dialogue to address such issues and everybody understands what is going on,” he stated.

He added that, monies would be deposited into the accounts of the players as they would not fly monies as happened in Brazil.

According to the President of the Ghana Football Association(GFA), it is important to communicate well with the Black Stars and they have achieved that.

The Stars he said are willing to accept any amount offered them for the love of the country and believe that they are willing to give out their best in the competition.
