Black Queens head coach Bashiru Hayford says his outfit will travel abroad for friendly matches ahead of the 2018 CAF Africa Women's Cup of Nations.

The Black Queens have played a couple of friendlies as part of the preparations for the championship. However, coach Bashiru Hayford is keen to play against oppositions abroad in order to strengthen the team.

The gaffer named a few countries who are out of their comfort zone for friendly matches.

"We have played eight matches within two months, two days. I can say we have standard team now, but we need to pick our strength against outside teams. South Africa is currently camping in Chile, Cameroon is in Germany.

"Others too are camping elsewhere, but am definite we would travel too, authorities have assured us that they are working round the clock to let us travel", Coach Bashiru told Esther Abankwa on Angel TV's Sports Show "On the Turf".

The 2018 AWCON will kick off on November 17 and end on December 1st.
