They bragged, insulted and joked but it will be all fireworks when the two finally settle in the ring for the much- anticipated bout on September 30.

During the first press conference for Braimah Kamoko(29-0,22 KO's) popularly known as Bukom Banku and Bastie Samir(15-0-1,14 KO's) at Bukom Boxing Arena on Thursday, it was obvious the two would stage one of the biggest bouts in the history of the country.

Thousands of boxing enthusiasts trooped to the venue to watch the press conference to officially announce the bout which would be held at the same venue.

Despite,tight security at the Arena, boxing lovers both young and old defied all odds and made their way to the venue to cheer the boxers on as they promise 'heaven and earth' on September 30.

The two boxers surprisingly hugged each other before settling down to promise Ghanaians an entertaining bout that would change the image of the sport in the country.

According to Samir, 31, he has prepared very well for the bout and would emerge victorious though he would keep a good friendship with his opponent after the fight. 

"I am going to change boxing image, boxing is my destiny... I am ready for Bukom Banku and after that fight we are friends but for now we are friends",he stated.

Banku however did not mince words, confidently predicting a sixth round stoppage of the undefeated Samir.

"Ayittey Powers will even do better than Bastie in the ring and I would not have any difficulties at all knocking him out to end the fight", he stated.

He also urged his supporters to remain calm and desist from insults and violence since life continues after the boxing bout.

"I want to assure my fans that I will win the fight, I will stop Bastie in Round 6, all Ghanaians know me...". Ghanaians are waited anxiously for the bout.
