Kumasi Asante Kotoko captain, Amos Frimpong has strongly warned his teammates to avoid complacency ahead of their second leg encounter against Kariobangi Sharks.

The Porcupine Warriors will host the Kenyan side at the Babayara stadium this Saturday, December 22 for the make-it or break-it second leg game in the CAF Confederation Cup round-of-32 clash.

The first leg ended on a goalless draw at the Kasarani stadium last weekend in Kenya.

Amos told Graphic Sports that the Porcupine Warriors are confident heading into the second leg clash and continued by warning his teammates to shun complacency in order to progress to the next stage of the competition.

"They are a good side who can cause an upset when underrated, so I want to caution my colleagues to avoid being complacent in our second leg at home.

"I believe we have a good side to go through but you have to respect a well-composed side that keeps possession because they can easily unsettle you if care is not taken," Frimpong told Graphic Sports.

The draw in Kenya means the Porcupine Warriors need a victory on Saturday in Kumasi to qualify for the next stage of the competition.
