CAF has declined Hearts of Oak's request to admit fans for their Champions League clash against Guinean side CI Kamsar at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The Phobians were hoping to make some cash at the gates as well as have their fans troop to the Stadium to cheer the team on Sunday.

However, in a technical meeting today ahead of the game, CAF says the match should be played behind closed doors due to Covid-19.

Hearts of Oak had earlier announced how much they would be charging at the gate should CAF give the green light for them to admit fans.

The VIP Lower and Upper will have been prized at GHȼ100 and 150 respectively.

Referee Patrick Tanguy Jean Philippe Vlei from Côte D’Ivoire has been charge to be the middle man when the duo lock horns at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Tanguy will be assisted by compatriots Kouame Gabriel Kangah (Assistant I), Kalilou Bamba (Assistant II) and Allou Franc Eric Miessan (Fourth Official). Sekou Wieh Konneh from Loberia will serve as the Commissioner while Dr. Christiana Baah works as COVID-19 Officer.

The match is scheduled to come off at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, September 19 at 3:00 pm.

The first-leg encounter between the Phobians and CI Kamsar was cancelled by CAF due to the political unrest in Guinea.
