Asante Kotoko are the third best passing team among the sixteen participating clubs in the 2018/19 CAF Confederation Cup, data compiled by the club's performance analyses desk has revealed.

Scientifically collated figures, which includes all the 16 clubs in the competition, from Soccer Tactics passing data, shows that Asante Kotoko have made 875 complete passes in the competition.

The Porcupines are behind Morocco’s Raja Casablanca, who have 925, and Egypt’s Zamalek, who top the ranking of the club with the most complete passes with 977 accurate exchanges of the ball.

Algerian club NA Hussein are fourth with 855 passes, ten more than fifth place Etoile du Sahel of Tunisia, who boast of 845 complete passes.

Gor Mahia of Kenya are sixth with 815 passes, followed by Angola’s Petro Luanda, who have mastered 797 passes and above Asante Kotoko’s Group C opponent, Zesco United, who have 769 passes.

Nigeria’s Enugu Rangers are ninth with 730 passes and followed by Nkana FC, who play the Porcupines in a match day-three clash at the Nkana Stadium in Kitwe next Saturday.

The findings make Charles Kwablan Akonnor's Porcupines the third team with the most dominant force, a relevant quality any club can have in a competition like the Confederation Cup.

The desk, headed by Performance Analyst, Edward Gyamfi-Agyemang, also ran a similar data on the sixteen clubs in the CAF Champions League, and reports on how Asante Kotoko are faring among all the 32 teams participating in the two inter-club championships would be published later.
