Communication Director of Nkana FC, Lilian Musenge says her side are not under pressure to face Asante Kotoko despite defeat to local side Power Dynamos on Saturday.

Musenge in an interview with Kumasi-based Ashh FM said her outfit lost in the Zambian top flight to Dynamos due to tiredness but the team is adequately preparing to battle Asante Kotoko in the Total CAF Confederation Cup on Sunday.

"We lost to Power Dynamos because our players were tired and also wanted to be careful ahead of the game against Kotoko because it's an important game so we must prepare very well," Musenge told Ash FM.

"Losing to Power Dynamo is nothing serious but I know our players will recover very fast and be ready for Kotoko on Sunday."

"There is no pressure on Nkana Fc players because we lost our derby game against Power Dynamos, but we will just prepare very well because every game in the group is very important"

"Our players are used to pressure and that makes them ready for any team in the group...Our players have not rested this season playing in a lot of active Competitions, so I trust them to win the game on Sunday"

"The standings on the group table is nothing serious because Kotoko is not good away travelers so we will score them on Sunday to carry all the 3 points"

"Kotoko winning in Cameroon against Coton Sport was not in the group stage and playing in the group stages is a different ball game altogether, so that can't be a yardstick for Kotoko to win on Sunday"
