The 2019 CAF Confederation Cup quarter-finalists were confirmed last weekend, so which teams are in?
Unlike the CAF Champions League which has seen the usual strong challengers making this season’s quarter-final list, the CAF Confederation Cup sees a good mix of not-so-familiar names with a chance to become champions.
The CAF CC quarters will take us to places such as Omdurman (Sudan), Nairobi (Kenya), Kitwe (Zambia)Â and of course Morocco and Egypt.
List of CAF CC quarter-finalists:
- RS Berkane (Morocco)
- Hassania Agadir (Morocco)
- Gor Mahia (Kenya)
- AL Hilal (Sudan)
- Zamalek SC (Egypt)
- ES Sfaxien(Tunisia)
- Etoile du Sahel (Tunisia)
- Nkana FC (Zambia).
Meanwhile, the final eight draw is scheduled to take place at CAF’s headquarters on Wednesday 20 March 2019.
