Black Queens head coach, Bashir Hayford has vowed to get all three points against Cameroon on Friday in the ongoing 2018 African Women Cup of Nations (AWCON).

Bassira Toure's double helped Mali stun host, Ghana 1-2 on Tuesday at the Accra Sports Stadium, the results, has fainted the hopes of the Black Queens qualification to the next phase of the competition.

Cameroon top the group with six points after two successive victories, whilst Mali with three points are only on goal difference better than Ghana.

With the host progression in doubt, the trainer, knowing the difficult task ahead, assured Ghanaians of a positive result against Cameroon.

“We are aware of an uneasy task ahead of us, but we are ready for the task,” Hayford said.

“I don’t think there is any team beyond the Ghana team, football is all about the team you would meet and we are not underestimating the Cameroonians, because they are stronger than us, but we would get the results tomorrow. Much as I share in your sentiments we will pull through,” he added.

Mali are favorite heading to the next phase of the tournament as they face winless side, Algeria. Ghana will have to defeat Cameroon massively to brighten their chances of qualification.
