Real Madrid and Belgian goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois believes Barcelona’s Ter Stegen, Liverpool’s Alisson and Atletico Madrid’s Oblak are the three best keepers in the world.
The former Chelsea custodian was asked about the best shot-stoppers in the world after his clean sheet for Real Madrid against Roma in the Champions League on Tuesday night and simply responded: “Ter Stegen, Alisson and Oblak.
“They are all great goalkeepers, but I do not know who the best is. I could not go for me, that depends on the defence and also on the whole team, I think I have already shown that I am at a high level.â€
The Belgian was chosen as the FIFA’s goalkeeper of the year in September at The Best awards and also bagged the Golden Glove at the World Cup in Russia.
