Manchester City forward Sergio Aguero has been named as the Premier League player of the year for February.
Aguero appeared in all four of City’s Premier League matches last month, with the Blues taking maximum points.
He scored seven goals in total, including hat-tricks against Arsenal and Chelsea.
The Argentine, City’s greatest-ever goalscorer, has now equalled Alan Shearer’s record of 11 Premier League trebles and currently has 18 league goals for the season.
Meanwhile, his boss Pep Guardiola has also been named the Barclays February coach of the Month after guiding his side to four straight wins.
In the month of Feb, City beat Arsenal 3-1 before thrashing Chelsea 6-0. This was followed by a 2-0 win over Everton before holding their nerves to beat West Ham United 1-0.
The Spaniard saw off competition from Emery and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who was unable to scoop the prize for the second time in a row after his January triumph.
