Chelsea have extended their unbeaten run under Maurizio Sarri as they thumped Burnley 0-4 at Turf Moor in the English Premier League.

Alvaro Morata's goal coupled with second-half strikes from Barkley, Willian and Loftus-Cheek secured all three points for the Blues as they look to challenge seriously for the Premier League title this season.

Sean Dyche's men started on a front foot, pinning the visitors in their own half but Morata's opener made it very easy for Chelsea.

Ross Barkley found Alvaro Morata in the 22nd minute and instinctively unleashed a shot into the bottom right corner to make it 0-1.

The second started as the first with Burnley looking dangerous at the early stages but Chelsea quickly silenced the host following an excellent long-range strike from Ross Barkley in the 57th minute to double the lead of the visitors.

Six minutes later, Willian took advantage of the space across the edge of the penalty area and made the scoreline 0-3 with a magnificent curler into the right bottom corner.

Substitute Loftus-Cheek put the icing on the cake in injury-time as he got a rebound inside the box and gleefully struck the ball into the middle of the net.

Chelsea temporarily move to second on the Premier League table as Tottenham Hotspurs welcome Manchester City at Wembley Stadium on Monday night.
