Vice-Chairman of the FA Cup Committee, Kofi Poku has stated that the Normalization Committee made a huge mistake in excluding football people to help them deliver their mandate.
According to him, the members on the Committee are knowledgeable individuals in their respective fields of work but the tasked given them to normalize football is a difficult one and hence they should have included football people.
“The Normalization Committee members are ignorant of the work they are doing. They can be experts in their core competencies but not football. The main first howler they committed was the decision to exclude football people out of their mandate. It was simply unpardonableâ€, he told Light FM.
“Dr. Kofi Amoah understands some part of the football business but cannot handle the committee to attain the needed success expected from themâ€, he added.
The Dr Kofi Amoah led-committee were tasked by FIFA to run the affairs of the Ghana football, to review the statues and organize elections.Â
Their tenure of office ends on March 31.
