Chief Executive Officer of Asante Kotoko George Amoako has disclosed that Paa Kwesi Fabin has been given $50,000 as advanced payment for his new job with an unknown South African club.

Paa Kwesi Fabin resigned from his position as the head coach of Asante Kotoko on Thursday, 13, September 2018.

However, Fabin was seen in a leaked video negotiating with an unknown South African club ahead of a move.

According to the CEO, George Amoako, he was aware the gaffer was deeply in negotiation with the unknown South African club and went on to disclose the money the former U-17 head coach received.

“Paa Kwesi Fabin received $50000 from that club in South Africa but he was on the media telling lies,” he told Happy FM.

Akakpo Patron who was an assistant coach under Paa Kwesi Fabin has been given the nod as the interim coach.
