Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) has suspended the Sierra Leone Football Association with immediate effect and until further notice.
The Bureau of the FIFA Council has suspended the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) according to Article 16 of the FIFA Statutes with immediate effect on Friday, 5th, October 2018.The suspension placed on the Sierra Leone Football Association was as a result of the country's decision to remove the SLFA President Isha Johansen and Secretary-general Chris Kamara from office by an Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).
The world football governing body in the statement says the suspension could be lifted at any time before the next FIFA Congress takes place.
